When Sullivan began his wrestling career he was immediately known as an aggressive and talented wrestler. In the independents he was accompanied by his then real life wife, Woman (Nancy Sullivan). He wore yellow tights and face paint. He then joined the NWA (National Wrestling Alliance) in the mid 80s and was back and fourth through the indie federations but stayed in the NWA in the early 90s when it became the Ted Turner based federation, the WCW (World Championship Wrestling). He had many great matches. In 1994 when Hulk Hogan finished one of his many feuds with Ric Flair, Kevin Sullivan started a feud with the Hulkster which brightened his career. This feud with Hogan lasted until some time in 1996. First Sullivan was joined by the Butcher (Ed Leslie, Brutis Beefcake as he was known in the WWF), and Avalanche (John Tenta, Earthquake as he was known in the WWF) and the threesome was called the Faces of Fear. The feud with Sullivan's stable and Hogan came to a halt in mid 1995 but started again in the late summer. It was revealed that Sullivan was in cahoots with the Giant and the Master Iaukea was supposedly Sullivan's father. Sullivan would be known as The "Taskmaster". The new stable was called the Dungeon of Doom. They were soon joined by Kamala "The Ugandan Giant", The Shark (John Tenta), and the Zodiac (Ed Leslie, Brutis Beefcake), and Meng. During the Halloween Havoc 95 match Sullivan and the Giant were joined by Jimmy Hart after Hart attacked Hogan. It was then that Yeti (Ron Reis) joined up with the massive group but then disappeared after that appearance. After many matches with Hogan, Sullivan and his Dungeon of Doom joined Ric Flair and the Four Horseman in early 1996. More members joined Sullivan in 1996. The One Man Gang, Loch Ness (Giant Haystacks), Z Gangsta (Zues, Tom Lister Jr.), The Final Solution (the late Jeep Swenson) Konnan, Maxx Muscle, The Barbarian, The Leprechaun (Sgt. Buddy Lee Parker), Jackie (Jacqueline in the WWE), Hugh Morrus, Big Bubba Rogers (The Big Bossman),and the "Total Package" Lex Luger. The Dungeon of Doom shortly vanished after Hogan joined the NWO and Sullivan took a break and became a booker for WCW. He later showed up a few years later for a short stint as a commentator and as a manager with Mike Rotunda.
