Javen Tanner

Javen Tanner graduated with an MFA in Acting from The Old Globe Theatre, where he was awarded the Craig Noel Fellowship. In New York, Javen was the Associate Artistic Director of Handcart Ensemble, which was collectively named one of New York Theatre's people of 2006. He was also named Best Actor at the New York International Independent Film Festival (2007), and has taught acting at NYU Tisch's Playwrights Horizons Theatre School and Brigham Young University. Javen is the Artistic Director of The Sting & Honey Company in Salt Lake City. His poems have appeared in literary journals and magazines throughout the country.
