Nikki Martin's, a native of southern California, who's a TV actor, chef, and lifestyle speaker. She has worked with many chefs, including Top Chef (2006) winner Michael Voltaggio, Bobby Flay, Jean Georges & Scott Conant. Nikki was born in Long Beach, California and has always had a desire to act on-stage. Her great uncle was Lou Frizzell, who was known for his character, "Dusty Rhodes", on the hit show, Bonanza (1959), and starred in over 30 films throughout the 60's and 70's. Nikki graduated from Aliso Niguel High School in Orange County, CA, ,where she was a champion national cheerleader with a co-ed team for over 4 years, and has been involved in the arts since the age of 13. Her first appearance on-stage was In a high school production of the classic musical: "Three Penny Opera", following a stage version of "Steel Magnolias", in which she played "Shelby", and "Grease". She has studied dance for over 10 years, especially -jazz and hip-hop. After graduating a year early, Nikki moved to Los Angeles, where she is attending college part-time, majoring in psychology. Most recently, Nikki's appeared on QVC, HGTV and other channels as a celebrity spoke-person for Food Saver Vacuum Sealer. She's also made appearances on the Food Network, cooking on various shows, including; 24 Hour Restaurant Battle (2010) and as a finalist on "team Bobby" of season 8 on Food Network Star (2005). Miss Martin made a name for herself as the 'grill next door'- highlighting her expertise in outdoor entertaining. She's spent the last year traveling the country in pursuit of all things edible & drinkable, while working on her globally inspired, editorial cookbook and TV show.
