Betty Madigan was a popular recording and nightclub star in the 1950's and 60's who recorded prolifically for MGM Records and Coral Records, with such chart hits as "Joey," "Dance Everyone Dance," "There Should Be Rules (Protecting Fools Who Fall in Love)," and "Always You." In a 1954 Billboard poll, she was voted "the newer female vocalist with the greatest chance to become a top female vocalist." She retired to get married and raise her children and lives in Bar Harbor, FL. Nov. 16, 2018.
