Jonny Smith

After leaving Two Thousand Acres of Sky, young Jonny Smith bleached his hair, changed his name to Jai and forged a career as a popular bookmaker in Glasgow's tough Partick district. Well known to punters as a source of luck, as well as biscuits, an unsavory incident involving a promotional poster for a Frank Ocean album led to him operating under the pseudonym of Anton Francis for a number of years. He was also spotted in a number of bands, most notably winning the Mercury Music Prize as a member of the XX. Recent reports suggest that he has abandoned his pursuit of a career as a fireman, turning instead to a career in educating the English language; a miraculous achievement given that, as a Stran Fransiscan, English is not his first language.
