Alan Zdinak is a producer, writer, and director best known for five seasons of Emmy nominated directing on Nickelodeon's Blue's Clues (1995). After earning a degree in art and philosophy from NYU, Zdinak worked in commercial and music video production in New York. He spent several years as a key collaborator with Oscar/Emmy/MTV lauded visionary Zbigniew Rybczynski. He got his directing break at a Silicon Valley subsidiary of Paramount, returning to New York to helm over two dozen episodes of "Blue's Clues". Zdinak went on to produce and direct for Oxygen, The History Channel, NatGeo Kids, and elsewhere.
