Carolyn Hurren

Carolyn Hurren studied film-making at New York University before embarking on a career in the Toronto Film Industry. She spent over ten years as a grip with IATSE 873 where she worked on such notable productions as Chicago, X-Men, Precinct 13 and the TV show Soul Food before leaving for the 9 to 5 world of not-for-profits. Carolyn also has a certificate in Feature Film Writing from UCLA Extension and is a graduate of The Second City Conservatory Program. She also studied acting at Brock University, The Players Academy and The Actor's Workshop. She has been in several short films, did two seasons of Shakespeare in the Park and can be seen on various improv stages around Toronto.
