Georgi Penkov

Georgi Ivanov Penkov, better known as Johnny Penkov was born on November 27, 1933 in Sofia. He is the son of the artist Professor Ivan Penkov. In 1966, he graduated in "radio engineering" at the Technical University. In 1972, he has specialized electric engineering in France. He is a sound engineer in many documentaries. He is also an actor in the such films as "Knight without Armor," "Jesse James vs. Lokum Shekerov", "Turkish Delight", "The Double," "Willful Bird Love," "Divorce, Divorce," "Operation Shmenti Hats "and others. Georgi Penkov (Johnny), Georgi Stoev (Jackie), and Hristo Iliev (Charlie) have received the Sofia Award for their overall contribution to the seventh art.
