James Dicarlo, a native of Brooklyn New York, has been a professional actor for over 17 years, starting his career at the age of 17. Jumpstarted as a series regular on the ABC short lived sitcom "Bob Patterson", Dicarlo attended an open call for the series regular role, amongst thousands of hopeful tryouts, spanning from the east to west coast. After a final audition call in front of ABC executive producers in Los Angeles, James was casted to play the son of Jason Alexander's character, who was also the executive producer and co creator of the program. Winning the role created a huge buzz in the showbiz world for Dicarlo, as he was featured in articles on the front pages of the New York Times Arts section, The Daily News NY, and the NY post. Bernard Weinraub, head journalist for the New York Times, who also interviewed James, quoted Dicarlo casting experience of being " The best first leap any Brooklyn actor has ever taken into Hollywood". Since Bob Patterson's cancellation in late 2001, Dicarlo has appeared in shows such as "Rescue Me" and "30 Rock", also reviving his career in 2012 for principal roles for the Biography and Discovery I.D. channel. Represented by Talent INK (NY, CHI, LA), Dicarlo still resides in the Brooklyn section of New York , running full force into the world of Television and film, in 2013 and beyond.
