Lauren Lazin is the Academy Award nominated Director/ Producer of the feature film Tupac: Resurrection. As SVP of MTV News & Docs she directed/ executive produced Cribs, True Life, Diary, My Super Sweet 16 and many other award winning documentaries, including I'm Still Here: Real Diaries of Young People Who Lived During the Holocaust, Soul Train: The Hippest Trip in America and Last Days of Left Eye. Lazin created the Halo Awards for Nickelodeon and directed Newlyweds the First year for Bravo and the award winning L Word Mississippi: Hate the Sin for Showtime.
