For many years Conant worked as a celebrity photographer, during which time he met and worked with celebrities including Matt Damon, Zac Efron, Elvis Costello, Ryan Sheckler, Louise Fletcher, Julian Lennon, Method Man, Simon Cowell, Kevin Nealon, Nicole Richie, Ed Asner, and many more. Conant is particularly interested in the life of Abraham Lincoln and the Civil War era. In 2013 he produced "The Gettysburg Address," a feature-length documentary film in commemoration of the 150th Anniversary of America's most famous speech, featuring Matthew Broderick, Tom Brokaw and many of the country's leading historians. It is the first film under his new Rising Picture Company banner.
