Marta Mondelli

Marta was born and raised in Italy where she studied acting and worked professionally in theater and films since 2000. She moved to New York City in 2002 and since then started a career as journalist, translator and writer both of fiction and scripts, while continuing performing in film and theater. In 2009 she shot her first feature film as writer/director with her production company City Animals Productions. In 2011 she published her first book, a novel in Italian entitled Occhi di cane, cuore di cervo. In 2014 she produced her first play at the Cherry Lane Theatre, NYC.
