Marcos Menendez is an American born Actor, Musician, Singer-Songwriter, Writer, Producer. Originally from New York City, he was Born in Manhattan, and was raised in the Bronx and Queens. He earned a BFA in Acting from the prestigious acting conservatory at SUNY Purchase in New York. He also studied with teachers from The Juilliard School, at the Chautauqua Theatre Conservatory, where he played Orestes in Ellen McLaughlin's adaptation of Iphigenia, and was also accepted into the theatre program at the Royal National Theatre in London. After performing in lots of Shakespeare and other theatre in NYC, Marcos moved to Los Angeles where he soon found work in commercials, print, short and feature length films. An avid fan of the Italian style of theatre known as Commedia 'Del Arte, Marcos joined Actor Tim Robbins' theatre company, The Actors' Gang, where he studied "The Style" and performed for many years. A self taught musician who plays guitar, bass, and piano, Marcos was the lead singer and primary songwriter in the alt/indie/rock band Model K. He also played bass for the Tim Robbins led punk band Gob Roberts and with artists such as Eddie Veder, Tom Morello, and More. He is Repped by Sovereign Talent Group in Los Angeles.
