Brian McKechnie is the founder and president of sick & twisted productions, an independent b-movie company run out of Toronto, Canada. Brian started the company in 1998 to make movies that are considered different or "out of the box". The first feature length film produced by sick & twisted was P.O.V (2001). Growing up in the suburbs of Toronto Brian had an obsession for movies, especially b-movies from the 50's and 60's. He idolized 'Ed Wood', Roger Corman and the Troma Team but it wasn't until after a screening of Pulp Fiction (1994) in 1994 that Brian realized he wanted to be a filmmaker. He immediately borrowed the family's video camera and started shooting "movies" with his friends. What started as a dream turned into a serious career choice and Brian decided to attend Seneca College School of Communication Arts to further his technical skills.
