Stephen Bourne

Stephen Bourne is one of Britain's leading experts on black cinema and television. His most recent book, "Black in the British Frame" (Continuum, 2001) looks at over a century of black cinema in Britain. Stephen has contributed to a number of television documentaries including two about Paul Robeson: the BBC's "Speak of Me As I Am" in 1998 and American Masters' "Paul Robeson: Here I Stand" in 1999.
