Angela Matemotja

Angela Matemotja is an actor and filmmaker. You can see her starring in her indie feature film "Elevate," which she wrote, directed, produced, available on Amazon, iTunes, and many other platforms. Her given name was Anjela Danielovna, but after moving to the states from Russia as a child, she became the familiar "Angela" and hasn't corrected anyone since. Angela's Nationality is South African and Russian, though on the small and big screens, she often portrays characters of Latin descent. As a producer/writer/director, Matemotja Productions mission: Cultivating a Cinematic Culture of Compassion, One Story at a Time. We seek to produce socially conscious films that reveal the often untold stories of our subculture. By embracing internationalism and shedding light on the different social aspects of the world, we will cultivate a cinematic culture that inspires dialogue for understanding, acceptance and compassion.
