Jack Moylett formally known as Gabriel Connaughton was born in Kingscourt, Co Caven, Ireland. He immigrated to England at the age of 18 and found work as an accounts clerk in London; eventually he moved to Huyton, Liverpool, worked as a teacher and then joined the Everyman Theatre as a volunteer. Next he auditioned for a place at The London Drama Centre and was accepted. After the Drama Centre he worked in fringe theatres like the Half Moon. By chance; Jack heard about Ken Campbell forming The Science Fiction Theatre of Liverpool and joined the company. He got married and after the successful run of the Illuminatus Theatre production they went to Philadelphia, USA and formed The Transatlantic Theatre Company. Jack moved to New York after his marriage didn't work. Unfortunately; as he was driving from Philadelphia to New York he was involved in a serious hit and run accident and was left for dead on the side of the New Jersey turnpike. He eventually made a full recovery and was able to continue his theatre activities producing plays at many venues - on the fringe and off, off, off Broadway. Along the way he met his present partner Alison Mullin. (RADA trained). When she became pregnant, they decided to return to Ireland to raise their children. They bought an old house in Inner City Dublin where they spent many years renovating it. Jack has written and directed a number of plays for the company, the most recent been "Casement", about Roger Casement and "The Classic" about Michael Collins; which they toured extensively in Ireland. When his youngest child finished University he retired and with Alison went to live in Berlin where they formed Wandering Albatross. Their first production was The Immortalist by Heathcote Williams which was a great success.
