Alexander Weimer

Alex Weimer, born 1978 in Southern Germany, is co-founder of MovieBrats Films & Animation, a production company and animation studio based in Berlin, Germany. He has directed and/or produced numerous award-winning short films and documentaries that were screened at film festivals worldwide, while completing his diploma in the film program of the University of Applied Sciences in Wuerzburg, Germany. In 2008, he graduated with the feature length film "Fremdkörper" (as writer/director). Alex is a frequent expert speaker, guest lecturer and panelist at conferences, festivals and universities focusing on the topics of 3D storytelling, transmedia from a producer's perspective and crowdfunding for filmmakers.
