Beverly Wills was born in Los Angeles, California on June 7, 1934. The daughter of actress Joan Davis, Beverly, too, would enter acting, but would not be as successful as her mother. She only appeared in six films, one TV series, and two guest appearances elsewhere. Her first film was in 1945, when Beverly made her debut in George White's Scandals (1945) when she was 11 years old. Mickey (1948) followed three years later. In 1952, at the age of 18, Beverly appeared with her mother and Jim Backus in the TV comedy, I Married Joan (1952). In this, she played the sister to her real-life mother. After the series had its run, Beverly appeared in only four more films, the last being Son of Flubber (1963) in a menial role. Later that year, Beverly died in a house fire with her grandmother and two sons. She was just 30 years old. Her mother, Joan, had passed on two years before.
