Kaya Wittenburg was born in and raised in Brookfield, Wisconsin. After graduating from high school he went on to study psychology and biology at Marquette University in Milwaukee. He worked as an anesthesia technician in the O.R. for the next three years. Kaya then left for Arizona to take a job at a larger hospital in Phoenix. After three months, he met an agent from Milan who asked him to fly to Europe and model for the fashion shows. Within a week of the introduction, he left for Italy to pursue modelling full-time. Within a few months was walking down the runways for the most prestigous designer at the time - Gianni Versace. Over the next four years his busy career took him to Europe, Asia, Africa and South America. Relocating to Miami, he was cast in Fox Television's reality series, Temptation Island (2001), which became one of the most successful series in the history of Fox Television. Kaya subsequently moved to Los Angeles to pursue life in the entertainment business. After appearing on the "Tonight Show With Jay Leno," Kaya's career as a fashion model evolved into that of a full-scale media personality. He landed a role in the MTV's "A Perfect Date," where he served as the Romance Expert. Next, he was cast to compete in the "USA Network's Cannonball Run 2001" reality series. He then spent two months filming "The Hollywood Stories Documentaries" for the BBC. Following that, he appeared on and won the Special Newsmaker's Celebrity Edition of "The Weakest Link" in one of the highest-rated episodes to-date. Kaya then appeared in a one-hour special for the FX Networks show, Son of the Beach (2000) and NBC's show "Dog Eat Dog". A guest appearance on the British morning TV show, GMTV, went over so well that he was invited to appear several times in the "Only in LA" segment. Kaya recently landed his first film role in the movie "10 Attitudes", directed by Michael Gallant.
