Douglas Wood

Douglas Wood is the author of the novel, LADIES OF THE CANYON, a psychological thriller. Born in Chicago where he was an actor (Second City, Steppenwolf, Next Theatre Co., The Fine Line Comedy duo). Won a Joseph Jefferson Award and a Dramalogue Award for Best Actor in a Revue for "An Evening with the Fine Line." Spent ten years as an animation executive. Started as Director of Animation for Steven Spielberg at Amblin Entertainment, then became VP of Feature Animation Creative Affairs and Production at Turner Pictures, Warner Bros. and Universal.
