Fred Wolfson began his career as a Police Officer for the City of Vineland New Jersey, until he relocated to Los Angeles, California becoming a Police Officer for the City of San Fernando. In 1981, Wolfson became a contractor for the United States State Department. He was assigned primarily to the Middle East assigned to organizations such as OPEC, in helping to secure their oil ministers' safety while traveling. He headed security for Saudi Arabia's Oil Minister during visits to the United States, including all protection afforded the Minister's home in Bel Air, California. Wolfson worked with Federal, State and local law enforcement to coordinate the minister's safety during each visit. After terrorism brought down a private Aramco airliner in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Wolfson was brought in to solve the crime. As a result, he was awarded the Royal Cross Palm and Swords Award from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for being the first person to conduct a polygraph examination in Saudi Arabia that yielded a terrorist's confession to bringing down a commercial aircraft in the Kingdom. While in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, he developed, engineered, and implemented a "fail safe" device to protect executives, engineers, and royalty from terrorist attacks while at work. Wolfson further developed additional devices, utilizing the same technology, to protect their homes and palaces. Wolfson has traveled extensively in the Middle East, Europe, and the United States working with security contractors to assure and maintain quality, reliability, and high standards. He inspected and approved all items prior to shipment to or from any country to prevent any terrorist activity. In addition, he made certain that no prohibited items entered the Kingdom, regardless of the origin. Over the past 38 years, Wolfson has conducted over 30,000 interrogations and polygraph examinations with a 98.4% confession rate amongst those found guilty. In 1974, he founded Internal Affairs Ltd., a state licensed Polygraph and Investigative Company. During his tenure as President and Qualified Manager of Internal Affairs, Ltd., Wolfson trained and supervised 15 full-time polygraph examiners and over 35 investigators with clientele around the world. Wolfson has been retained by a President of the United States, Fortune 500 companies, including Aramco, the Arabian American oil company, The Los Angeles Police Department Protective League, retail stores, nationwide newspapers, banks, Allied Artists Pictures, The U.S. State Department, numerous local, state, college police departments, and thousands of private clients who simply needed to know the truth and keep their assets and personnel safe and secure. He is a California State Licensed Private Investigator, a licensed State Polygraph Examiner, and a board certified criminologist. He is an undisputed expert in the field, qualified under voir dire, conducting classes in interrogation and lie detection for law enforcement and private entity's alike. His innovative techniques are used by law enforcement and private industry to this day. Wolfson earned a Ph.D. in the field of Forensic Behavioral Sciences in 1986, and was an Adjunct Professor of Criminology through the mid 90s. He worked with Dr. John Stolberg the leading forensic psychiatrist in the country on many of his front page cases. Based in California, Wolfson travels worldwide to consult with nations, defense contractors, and private industry.
