Jamie Yerkes

Jamie Yerkes works as a cinematographer, a professor of film, an editor and a writer/director. His short film, Cowboy Jesus, received the Judges Special Merit Award at the New England Film Festival, the Audience Award at the Albany International Short Film Festival, and the Recompense Exceptionelle Award at the Cineffable Festival in Paris. Cowboy Jesus screened at the Sundance Film Festival and has been a controversial favorite at festivals internationally. His first feature, Spin the Bottle, received the Martin Bregman Production Award and an Eastman Kodak Product Award. Spin is currently touring the festival circuit, having screened at the Austin Film Festival (audience award finalist), Norwegian Film Festival (juror's award finalist), the New York Comedy Film Festival, the San Francisco Gay Lesbian Film Festival and the Santa Barbara International Film Festival.
