Daniel B. Levin's experience spans documentary, television, narrative film and commercial spots. He has a gift for producing compelling yet nuanced stories in the life of real people, through thoughtful, charming and entertaining content. Most recently Levin was the Director of Photography on the documentary series, Rest in Power: The Trayvon Martin Story, Executive Produced by Shawn Carter and the Cinemart (Paramount, 2018). Levin was the Director of Photography for Inside the FBI: New York (USA, 2017) Executive Produced by Dick Wolf. His Director of Photography credits also include Chicagoland (CNN, 2014) and the Peabody Award-Winning and Emmy-Nominated Docu-Series, Brick City (Sundance Channel, 2010). Levin has shot multiple HBO Documentaries including Prayer for a Perfect Season (2011), Love Child (2014) and Class Divide (2016), which was awarded the Grand Jury Prize at Doc NYC 2015. Levin's directorial debut, the documentary Captured (2008), screened worldwide to critical acclaim and became an instant New York cult classic.
