Abram Cox began his career as a storyboard artist for commercials and music videos, working for clients such as Coke, Energizer, and Nike. He transitioned into directing with "The Man With No Eyes", an original concept for NBC/Universal's SyFy Channel. He continued working with SyFy Channel, directing three Saturday Night Movies back-to-back ("Alien Lockdown", "Larva" and "Mammoth"). "Mammoth" garnered SyFy their first Emmy nomination for a Saturday Night Movie when it was nominated for a Visual Effects Emmy. Cox left SyFy Channel in order to direct his first independent feature, "Miss Nobody", a dark comedy starring Leslie Bibb, Adam Goldberg, and Missi Pyle. During its release, "Miss Nobody" won Best Ensemble and Best Lead Actress at the Boston Film Festival in 2010 and was distributed on Showtime and Netflix.
