Geno Machado was born in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (Spain). She has two older brothers and she lives with her parents. She left school because she wanted to sing professionally. She became one of the 16 finalists of the TV-programme Operación triunfo (2001) and she is very popular in Spain. Her first album is called "Aún hay más" and she is very happy because she went to the Eurovision song contest with Rosa, Chenoa, David Bisbal, Gisela and David Bustamante.
