Marlow Wyatt

Marlow is an actor, a writer, an activist. She was a lead performer in numerous Off-Broadway and regional productions that include: A Raisin in the Sun, Private Battle, Insurrection: Holding History and No Exit. She honed her writing skills when he developed The Girl Blue Project- writing and directing 10 original works for the program. She is a 2018 Many Voices Fellowship finalist, the first playwright to have 2 works chosen for the "A List" Reader's Series at the 2017 National Black Theatre Festival, a 2016 Humanitas/CTG Playwrights Prize finalist and the 2016 winner of the Long Beach Playhouse New Works Festival for her full-length drama SHE. Her work was recently performed by the Howard Players at Theatre Alliance in February 2018. Marlow also writes for television and film (Red Ribbons, Love Out Loud-2018) Other honors include: Women In Theatre Red Carpet Award, Pine-Sol/Ebony Magazine Powerful Difference Award (2010), The Spirited Woman Grant (2013) and two time recipient of the Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS Discretionary Grant (2010-2012).
