Mara Chapanova was born in Burgas, Bulgaria. In 1959 she graduated from National Academy for Theatre and Film Art, Sofia, Bulgaria in "Acting". She worked in the Vidin Drama Theatre and the National Youth Theatre until 1991. She has participated in broadcasts of Radio, singing in the choir "Lively shift" and the Choir of Sofia girls. There are her numerous participation in Bulgarian National Television. She is a member of the Ladies Literary Salon "Evgenia Mars." She has published poems and stories in the almanacs of the gym. She is an author of the poetry collection "P = 3.14" and "Hat with a feather." She has compiled a comprehensive book portrait of composer George Tutev entitled "A Hero who was not Hero." She had two marriage. The first is with the artist Petko Dobrinovich; the second - with composer George Tutev, died in 1994.
