Half German, Half Scottish/Irish actor Michael Klaumann was born September 28, 1964 in Tokyo, Japan at Tachikawa Air Force base to Joseph, a career Air Force fighter pilot and Pearl, an Air Force pilot herself and then full time mother. At nine months old his family moved back to North Carolina where the family continued to move around the county living the "military life" finally settling in Denver, CO where he would spend his grade school through college years. Klaumann picked up an interest for the dramatic arts in high school and then went on to do local interest stories for the local TV station in Sterling, CO. After pursuing photography, editing and directing for which he received a Platinum Best of Show Aurora Award for directing the drug education film Xtasy: The Real Story, he decided it was time to focus on what he loved best, acting. He enrolled at The Acting Center (theactingcenterla.com) and began to dig in to the craft of acting. He submitted himself for his first Los Angeles short film on September 24th, got the audition on the 25th, did the audition on the 26th, found out he booked the role on the 27th and shot his first short film and first role he auditioned for on his birthday September 28th. After that Klaumann would go on to book 10 short films in 7 weeks. His television debut came in the form of Operation Repo and then Justice for All with Judge Christina Perez which both showcased Klaumann's ability to just be the character and live in the moment. Co-starring in Adopted opened up Klaumann's comedic chops.
