Alistair graduated from VCA (FTV) in 2001, and his masters in 2005. His graduate film From the Top was a finalist at the Sydney Film Festival Dendy Awards (2002), winner of the Kensington Film Festival (2002). His other shorts including Goldfish (2001), Rent (2012), Quiz (2013) and the AFC (Screen Australia) funded Three Weeks In Koh Samui (2003) screened in festivals across Europe, America and Australia, including MIFF, Edinburgh, LA and Cannes Court Metrage. His feature project The Big Jesus was part of the AFCs Indivision program. He has produced and directed several fashion and music clips for artists including Alannah Hill and Deborah Conway. He has also produced and directed corporate commercials for National Australia Bank, and teaches acting and presenting at Brave studios. He is currently developing three feature films including Grand Final with writer Geoffrey Atherden and producer Jason Byrne, Get Out of Here with writer Jonathan Empson and a comedy web series.
