Vicente Peñarrocha was born in Spain and attended film school in Madrid and Santa Monica College. After writing several scripts, he made his directorial debut with Fuera del Cuerpo (2004), which got him critical acclaim. After that he enrolled in more international projects such as Arritmia (2007) and María Montez (2014). He is also known for writing and directing television series, such as Hay Alguien Ahí (2009-2010), Angel o Demonio (2011) and La Fuga (2012).
