Susanne Steidle was born in 1964. She grew up in Essen-Werden and received early dancing lessons at the Folkwangschule Essen. Her father being a professor for graphic design and painting, and her mother an interior designer, she was at a very early stage surrounded and confronted with arts an encounter that culminated in private studies of printing graphics and watercolor painting with her father. Later, 13 years of theater work led her to Düsseldorf, Munich, Hamburg. She participated in a number of open air and tour theater events. An excursion as chanciness led her to the cabaret stage 'Das Schiff' where she met Gert Fröbe and Heinz Reincke. Susanne's TV debut was made in 'Lindenstraße', soon followed by different roles in TV series like 'City Express', 'Oppen und ehrlich' und 'SoKo 5113'. She now lives in Munich and continues to appear as lead in the popular TV series 'Marienhof' (May 2007). In 2009 and 2010 Susanne was playing the main role in the stage production of 'Sklavin ihres Geliebten' at the Heppenheim Theater Festival, and she was Elvira in Coward's 'Ein Geist kommt selten allein' at the Fritz-Rémond Theater in Frankfurt. At the Schlossfestspiele Ettlingen 2012 she interprets in Shakespeare's 'The Tempest' the role of Ariel, 2013 Sophie in 'Vier linke Hände' at the Komödie im Marquardt Stuttgart. Susanne Steidle lives in Essen.
