Matt DeNoto is a writer and actor, generally of comedic things. Currently trying to find a home for his BDSM-themed sitcom Master & Slave & Claire, which was a semi-finalist in the inaugural NBC Playground sitcom pilot contest. Since 2018, DeNoto has performed with the long-running weekly sketch comedy show TMI Hollywood on the Comedy Central Stage at the Hudson Theatre. In 2018, DeNoto was invited by AT&T to shoot his short film Rush Job on the Warner Bros. lot as part of their Create-a-thon, where it would go on to be named one of the winners of the mobile category. Horror short Defense Mechanism, which DeNoto wrote and acted in, won Best In Show at the 2015 Pensacon Film Festival. DeNoto wrote and starred in the popular, award-winning parody webseries Harry Potter And The Ten Years Later, which has millions of views on YouTube and generated write-ups on dozens of sites around the world, including Wired, Vulture, io9, and Boing Boing. He was a member of the playwright pool for the 2017-2018 season of PlayGround LA, and his works have been produced by the Long Beach Theatre, Theatre Unleashed, Zombie Joe's Underground, and Forces of Nature Productions. He received a Four Star Theater Alliance award for Outstanding Lead Performance for Young Frankenstein: The Musical at the Conejo Players Theatre. In 2016 he completed a 7-week run of The Full Monty: The Musical at the Eldorado Resort in Nevada. Other stage performances include A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum with the High Street Arts Center, The Complete Works Of William Shakespeare (Abridged) with the Canyon Theatre Guild, Figaro with Panic! Productions, You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown at the Charles Stewart Howard Playhouse, Willy Wonka: The Musical at the El Portal, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee at the Charles Stewart Howard Playhouse, The Book Of Liz at Stages Theater, Picasso At The Lapin Agile at the Conejo Players Theatre, Avenue Q at the Long Beach Playhouse, The Lady From Maxim's at the Hillcrest Center For The Arts, Pieces at Zombie Joe's Underground, and horror-themed sketch comedy show Hemophelia's House Of Horrors, which he also wrote.
