Yvette Tucker was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico to an Argentine mother and American father. She grew up in Wichita, Kansas where she studied ballet since the age of three. Acting led her to Los Angeles, where she has appeared in numerous television programs and films, and countless commercials. In 2008 she was nominated for an Ovation Award for Best Featured Actress for her leading role as Vera in On Your Toes.
