After studying computer science, Jean-Jacques moved to the cinema industry by integrating a special effects company with which he made his debut on several commercials and feature films. He directed a commercial for "Yves Saint Laurent". The quality of this later allowed him to get his first own contract to make a promotion film for "le festival de film de Paris". After having occupied various positions (location manager, DOP, ...), he founded The Sight with Marion Transetti: an avant-garde short films production company. One of his achievements called "Shutdown" has been noticed by Luc Besson who bought the rights for France. Then, he left France to settle in Canada where he is still based with his family and his company.
