Jill Sorensen co-wrote and co-produced the comedy Marmalade about a fashion model being put out to pasture. The film was selected "Best pick of the festival" by the Hollywood Reporter when it premiered at the Cinevegas film festival. Jill won Best Actress for her role of Kim in the California Film Festival, where the film also won for Best Picture and Best Director. Jill is the co-founder of the charitable organization Knock Out Abuse Against in Washington Dc and Los Angeles helping victims of domestic violence. She was the recipient of Salvation Army Most Compassionate Citizen Award in 2008.
