Born in London, Terence trained in theatre, comes from a strong editing background and has directed a wide range of UK network TV drama. He wrote and directed the UK feature film Surviving Evil, shot in South Africa and distributed worldwide. He now is in active development on his second feature as writer/director/co-producer. His work as a director in TV drama has included action film series ThiefTakers, police drama The Bill, C4's gritty series Brookside, YTV's Heartbeat and popular serial Emmerdale. Also Central TV's single drama Being is Believing and the feature-length thriller Emmerdale Revenge. Also for broadcast network TV Terence has directed Here & Now, a 26 part series of dance, arts and music for Central TV, and the C4/PBS primetime special Ravi Shankar in Concert. His previous directing work also includes 10 part children's series Chips Comic, produced for Channel Four, live shows and several film documentaries. Award-winning Corporate and Advertising work has comprised scripting & directing credits for major clients including: Beechams, Roche, Volvo, Hilton Hotels and Citibank. In both London and Los Angeles Terence has written numerous film scripts and TV treatments, and continues to develop TV and Feature Film projects as writer-director through his UK production company Audience Films Ltd. An exciting slate of projects include returning and limited drama series, one of which is a screen adaptation of his crime novel Face the Dark Sidewalk - now scripted as a six-part TV drama titled Alcestis. Terence is keen to collaborate with dynamic producers in bringing his TV and Feature projects to life, and continues to work as a freelance director.
