Jon Rosen is a WME Board Member, Senior Partner, head of the agency's Branded Lifestyle Group, and Co-head of WME's Worldwide Non-Scripted Television Department. An East Coast native, Rosen was born and raised in northern New Jersey. He attended Boston University where he earned a B.A. in Psychology, as well as four varsity letters as a member of the Terrier Soccer Team. Rosen began his career in entertainment as an assistant to the Vice President of the Oscard Agency. In 1994, he joined the venerable agent training program at the William Morris Agency and was promoted to agent in 1997. In 2005, Rosen was made WMA's Head of East Coast Television after having served as Senior Vice President and Head of East Coast Cable/Syndication for the agency. Rosen was promoted to Executive Vice President and elected to the William Morris Agency Board of Directors - one of the youngest agents ever to hold that distinction - in 2007. In 2009, the William Morris Agency merged with the Endeavor Agency to form WME, and Rosen was named to the WME Board of Directors in 2011. Additionally, Rosen has been a part of the illustrious training program, in helping to shape the future agent pool at WME as well as the head of the NY office. In 2007, Rosen launched the agency's Branded Lifestyle Group, which aims to build multiplatform businesses for personalities and brands in all areas of lifestyle entertainment. Under Rosen's guidance, the group takes a holistic approach to representation, providing opportunities and strategies for clients across all areas of the company, including television, merchandising, licensing, publishing, and digital distribution. In 2001, Rosen was named to The Hollywood Reporter's "Next Generation," a list of the top 35 industry executives under the age of 35. In 2006, he was named Entertainment Marketer of the Year by Advertising Age, and in 2012, Rosen was named a Daytime TV Impact Honoree by Variety. In 2016, Jon was named to Variety's "Sports & Entertainment Impact Report". In 2019, Jon was named to Variety's "New Power of New York List". Rosen has been an angel investor in various companies including, Bombas Apparel, Olo / online ordering tech platform, Made by Nacho, Rally and New Fare Investments. He has also been involved in charities such as Share Our Strength, Fallen Heroes, Autism Speaks, and Make A Wish.
