Before reaching the success as the vocalist, guitarist and main songwriter of Los Hermanos, one of the most respected Brazilian rock 'n roll bands, Marcelo Camelo has played in bands such as Drive By, Barnabé and Minanina's Popcorn. Camelo is currently seen as one of the best songwriters of his generation, but, at the same time, he refuses to be seen as a poet or as the "new Chico Buarque". His songs are lightly anguish and often dialogs with the language of the MPB and Samba.
