Even as a child, Anthony was fascinated with cameras. It was a natural evolution when he joined his musician brother, Jon Bon Jovi, on tour as a camera operator on the "New Jersey" tour. His first hands-on professional camera experience was touring the world with Bon Jovi for 16 months, shooting in 54 countries. (This is where the nickname TBJ was given to Anthony aka Tony Bon Jovi). Anthony honed his craft over the next several years while touring with a variety of artists ranging from Debbie Gibson to KISS. Upon returning to New Jersey, Anthony became a much-sought after music video director for up-and-coming bands. His first music video won MTV's "Highway to Fame" Video Competition with Bad Biscut's rendition of AC/DC's "Highway to Hell", earning the band the top slot on "Headbangers Ball". Anthony again toured the world with Bon Jovi, this time in support of the band's "Bounce" album. Not only does he now direct all of the live Bon Jovi shows, but also contributes to the "overall look" of the band's stage show. For the "Bounce" tour, Anthony wrote and directed nine cinematic, intertwining "mini-motion pictures vignettes", which accompanied the band's live performances. The band and its management were so impressed with these vignettes that they re-released the record as a "Limited Collectors Edition" with the vignettes included as part of the "Bonus DVD". As word of Anthony's keen eye, attention to detail and work ethic spread, he was hired to create music videos for such artists as Goo Goo Dolls, Jack Off Jill, Rhino Party, Chris LeDoux and, most recently, the music video for Bon Jovi's Grammy-winning "Who Says You Can't Go Home", which also won a CMT Music Award for "Collaborative Video of The Year" & The Peoples Choice Award for "Favorite Rock Song". TBJ also produced and directed Bon Jovi's "This Left Feels Right" DVD, which received the DEG's Creative Excellence Award for "DVD of the Year". Anthony's other credits include "Sympathy" & "Give a Little Bit" music videos and the "Live in Buffalo July 4th" DVD for Goo Goo Dolls and the Marilyn Manson "Guns God and Government" DVD. All reached the top 10 on the DVD & video charts.
