Severin Eskeland is a multiple award-winning filmmaker from Norway. Born in Stord, a little town on the west coast of Norway, he began making movies with his friends from the age of 12. Mainly horror films as a result of "Friday the 13th: The final chapter" making a mayor impression on him, but also sleepless for a long time. He started film-school in 2001 in Oslo, Norway, and during the next four years of studies he made multiple shorts, music-videos, documentaries, and also acted in two Norwegian feature films. "United"(2003) and "Svein og rotta"(2006). He also made the behind the scenes segment on "United" as part of a school project. In 2009 he wrote and directed his first feature, "Snarveien". aka "Detour". The film was sold to several countries, and his second feature "Lyst" which he wrote, produced, edited and directed was released in 2017, has also been released worldwide. Including the US, Canada, Germany, Britain and all of Scandinavia. His exam-film "The chamber"(2006) was screened at Screamfest in Los Angeles the same year, which he has also returned to two more times. In 2009 with his feature "Detour" and again in 2021 with his latest short, "Number 7". His two latest shorts, "Number 7" and "Allodium" has been screened at festivals worldwide, and has gained him multiple awards. Eskeland has also made hundreds for corporate films for mayor companies in Norway.
