Ben Buschel

Ben grew up in Marin County. He is the son of the actor, Leonard Buschel. Leonard was a part of Robert Downey Sr.'s acting troupe in the seventies. As well as being a trained actor, Ben is a black belt in karate, after spending years training in Japan under a master. After coming back from Japan, Ben promptly spent four years on the road traveling with his friend David Forman and brother Josh, and cousin, Marin. When Jerry Garcia died, so did the road trip. Now, when Ben's not fighting or acting or on the road, he is loving his life, or out bowling, or eating a veggie burger at Jerry's in L.A. His favorite music is Pink Floyd, Arcade Fire and David Bowie. He makes his feature debut in Bringing Rain (2003) as a pitcher who's fast ball is not quite fast enough. He is the cousin of Bringing Rain director Noah Buschel and the two used to live together in Santa Monica, where Noah wrote poems and Ben played a stolen guitar.
