A graduate of USC Film School and Chairman Emeritus of the non-profit Scriptwriters Network, Bill sold two stories to 'Star Trek: Voyager' in 1997, and currently has three sci-fi/horror scripts under option. He also wrote and directed the short comedy film A Day in the Life of a Vampire (2002). Besides his film work, Bill wrote cast & crew biographies, production notes and essays for over 200 DVD movies, including The Matrix (1999), The Exorcist (1973), Superman (1978) and Casablanca (1942). His essays on the History of Science Fiction Films, History of Martial Arts Films and History of Comic Books Films helped "The Matrix" win several awards for its special features. In addition, Bill wrote the booklet liner notes for the special edition DVD releases of _E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial (1982)_ and Minority Report (2002). Bill is also a top script consultant and screenwriting instructor.
