Kristina Nikolova

Kristina Nikolova was born and raised in Bulgaria in a family of filmmakers, but for the past 14 years she has been residing and working as cinematographer and film director in the United States of America. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Film Theory from the University of Chicago, and a Master's degree in Film from the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. Kristina has 20 short films, 3 features and 2 documentaries to her credit. Her films have taken part in the film festivals in Milan, San Francisco, Sarajevo and Sundance, to name but a few. Her directorial debut "Faith, Love and Whiskey" had its world premier at the 2012 Slamdance Festival and went on to win many awards at festivals around the world..
