Danish news host and reporter Trine Sick was born in Gentofte, but grew up in Southern Jutland. She originally got a university degree in business communication, then took another degree in journalism. Her television career started in 1989 with TV 2 Nyhederne, then continued in 1990 with DR's TV-Avisen where she became a reporter as well as a popular news anchor.
