Elysia Skye moved to Los Angeles, California from Fort Lauderdale, Florida in fall of 2000. In 2004, Elysia started, production company, Metra Entertainment. Acting inspired her producing career, in an effort to create more interesting roles for herself. Elysia was first hired to produce content outside of the Metra Entertainment scope when Turner Broadcasting's SuperDeluxe.com ordered 6 webisodes from her and her team. From there, her work as a producer expanded, beginning with scripted comedy and venturing out to the world of drama, lifestyle, cooking, sci-fi, fashion and history. Additionally, Elysia Skye acts as a consulting producer for multiple tv shows, feature films and web series. In 2006, Elysia created the 501 C-3 educational non-profit, "LaughAboutCancer.com" to raise awareness for women under 40 with breast cancer, and to encourage a sense of humor during times of illness and trauma. She has also written the book, "I Got My Tits Done In Beverly Hills" and has a one woman show with the same name.
