Richard Joseph Zeier is a composer, producer and audio engineer/designer. Originally from Madison, Wisconsin, he started writing songs in his teens, even then reaching for compositions that would explore the meaning of life and ask questions of why we are here (on Earth). "Verses of Destiny" - a musically episodic and reoccurring theme in Zeier's compendium of writings has evolved through several of his bands and is now in a rebirth marked by a number of themes that have followed the many incarnations of Zeier compositions. Always leaning toward cinematic themes, Richard completed UCLA's Film Scoring Program that led to scoring a host of independent films and releasing an ongoing stream of "Theme's in the Wind." He has marketed these themes through libraries for movie trailers and independent projects for years. In 2006, he released his first solo CD project, "Phenomenation." Tracks from the album still resonate today and are in regular rotation on Pandora - with "The Journey" being a perennial top 10 favorite on Broadjam's rock charts. Along the way Richard has done work for Disney, Buena Vista, co-produced two albums with Grammy-nominated producer, Graham Dorsey, and has guitar credits on Oscar-nominated film "Speaking in Strings" about violinist Nadja Salerno-Sonnenberg. He also has credit as recording engineer on Lisa Haley's Grammy-nominated album "King Cake." He started marketing a high-end discreet analog guitar interface in 2014 that he designed called the Axe Integrator(TM) and has a loyal tech following on YouTube for his technical audio videos. Richard lives in Hollywood, CA with his wife Bonita and dog Biscuit and is well into a fresh album concept due in 2018. He is also a regular writing and musical contributor to ZO Magazine's international artist community and different kind of universe.
