Chris Iacono was born in Brooklyn in 1982. As a child he performed magic and participated in school stage productions as early as 1990. He attended Mark Twain School for the Gifted and Talented where he majored in acting from 1992-1995. He began performing stand up comedy in 1999 at Comedy Works in Denver Colorado. Later that year, he was accepted to the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City and attended their conservatory program from 2000-2002. He performed in the Boston International Comedy Festival and began radio broadcasting in 2005 on 87.9 FM in NYC with Comical Radio. Along with comedian Danny Lobell he launched one of the first podcasts on iTunes. Chris and his grandmother were featured in the New York Daily News on 4/19/2007. He's interviewed comedians and actors such as Georgle Carlin, Paul Giamatti, and Seth MacFarlane, Kid Rock.Chris was featured in an episode of The Glow After Dark Show in 2009, a reality show starring J-Lo, and in 2010 he appeared in a promo for HBO's True Blood. Chris performed with Dave Chappelle in 2010 at the Comedy Village (former Boston Comedy Club) in Greenwich Village NYC, and was cast in a comedy sketch for The Onion, he has made small appearances on Gossip Girl, Fringe, Better off Ted & Law and Order.During the fall of 2011 Chris toured England, Scotland & Holland performing stand up comedy. In 2012 he founded and began producing The Weed Show, a comedy & cannabis variety show out of Denver, Colorado. His storytelling has been featured in the RISK! podcast and he recently won a Moth StorySlam. In 2015 he was cast in Wax: A Denver Crime Story. He continues to appear on numerous stages, radio shows, and podcasts nationwide.
