Ken was born in Santa Monica, California. His parents divorced very early on, so Ken lived in many places all over Southern California, finally landing in Arcadia California from 3rd to 12th grades. He started acting in high school, and never stopped. While always in the profession of theater acting, Ken branched out into song and dance, with the Young Americans, performing with them for seven years. Then, while performing in plays in Los Angeles Equity waiver theaters , Ken started his own production company, Royce 2, making industrial revues for conventions and starting a dinner theater on Catalina Island. Around that time, Ken met with Reza Abdoh, a prominent experimental theater artist, and toured with his group to New York and to Europe. During this time, he also played Jesus in Jesus Christ Superstar, and performed in other modern operas and progressive music projects. Ken soon started acting for the camera, which is now his passion. He started in short films, on General Hospital for one episode, and with pioneer video artist Bill Viola. Since, then he has played leads in several low budget features. Meanwhile, Ken started choreographing for theater and opera. He was a longtime choreographer for Oregon Shakespeare Festival, worked for two seasons with New York City Opera, has choreographed for many major regional houses in the country including Mark Taper Forum, La Jolla Playhouse, Yale Rep and Chicago Opera Theater. Ken's film writer/director debut was with a vampire musical starring Kevin Richardson of The Backstreet Boys, The Bloody Indulgent. His second, that he also produced, was Perfect Cowboy, which premiered at the Directors Guild of America as part of Outfest. Both films are just now making the rounds. Ken is now refocusing his attention to acting for the camera, and landed the first project that he auditioned for, as a Principle in an Audi commercial. It's just the beginning of a new chapter in Ken's professional acting career.
