Emanuel Altenburger

Award-winning director and cinematographer Emanuel Altenburger graduated from film school in London, where his tutors included John Ward ("The 5th Element", "Full Metal Jacket") and Oscar winner Peter Capaldi. Emanuel has spearheaded various documentaries and magazines for major broadcasters such as Discovery Channel, ARTE, NHK Japan, ZDF, ARD, NHK, ORF, BBC and ServusTV, both as a director and as a director of photography. A well trained ear and a great love for music have allowed him to lead the creative effort and direct films for the major classical music label Harmonia Mundi USA. His first feature documentary "Chamber Music Wonderland", which he directed as well as produced, was well received by audiences and critics alike at film festivals around the world.
